This final session of CLEAR Week 2023 reviewed the findings of some of the latest CLEAR transformation and workforce redesign projects. It unveiled our CLEAR Urgent and Emergency Care Programme report, detailing how the programme supported 10 trust to make a series of recommendations to improve patient care with projected productivity gains of £15 million. It also heard from the Healthy Hyde PCN following its participation in CLEAR Anticipatory Care programme.
Since its inception in 2018, the national CLEAR programme has put clinicians at the heart of designing and delivering innovative new models of care and workforce as well as supporting them to develop skills in data analysis, innovation and leadership.
The programme has now delivered more than 40 projects across key priority areas including urgent and emergency care, elective recovery, mental health, critical care, ophthalmology and primary care. These have resulted in recommendations to improve care and outcomes while generating more than £20m productivity savings.
